Game Concept

Current deployment is a Sandbox to test NeuronNet Networking and Multiplayer APIs.

Game Details

  • This Alpha Release is built with minimal Eye/Ear candy. There WILL be many changes in design and appearance. This is a Minimum Viable Product.

  • The GameEngine will attempt to locate a 'localhost' server before searching for the Remote Server. This may take some time, please be patient. Details will be displayed in the console. 
  • At present there is no Loading Screen. The world is large and the Network Authentication is complex.

  • Please, be patient; each connection attempt could be up to 60 seconds per server before a live server is found.

  • If the Mouse is over a User Interface object the player avatar will not move. This is by design, but will be changed in a later version.

  • In Combat Mode (First Person Mode), Targeting is done with the Screen Center.

  • There is a day/night cycle. (managed by the server). 

Control Scheme

General Controls

  • The '`' key (above the tab key) will open the System Console Log.

  • Mouse Scroll Wheel - Zoom, Navigation Mode, Combat Mode.

  • The 'v' key - Navigation Mode, Combat Mode.
  • The 'r' is Reload Selected Weapon.

Navigation Mode (Third Person Mode)

  • Weapons Disabled!

  • Movement Buttons are WASD, Q&E, or Arrow Keys.

  • Left Mouse Button - Camera Movement.

  • Right Mouse Button - Camera and Player Movement.

Combat Mode (First Person Mode)

  • Weapons Enabled!

  • Movement is controlled by Mouse Movement.

  • Left Mouse Button - Fire Weapon 1.

  • Right Mouse Button - None.


  • There is no Persistent Data saved between sessions.

  • All Avatars have 600 HP. 

  • Damage is calculated based on Hit Box location; Top > Bottom & Back > Front > Side. The Back of the RIG is weak. Maximum damage per hit is 100 HP. 

  • All Players Spawn at Spawn 1. There are five Respawn points.

Server Information

Servers below are marked with their compatible build versions. The file "BattleRIGs Client Data/StreamingAssets/Game_Settings/Server_Addresses.txt" can be edited to change the default or search order for the server(s). Please be aware that the Client Address in the settings file may not match; edit the file as necessary. The NCI, (Network Compatibility Identifier), must match between the Client and the Server or the Server will refuse the connection.
